WP Consultation

One area where we can help you with is very broadly called WordPress Consultation. Of course Consultation is pretty vague, so let us explain. With WordPress Consultation we mean everything that is related to both advice and optimization of your WordPress website and is not directly related to Multilingual or eCommerce. To help standardise things a little bit, we have developed a couple of different WordPress Consultation Services which you can see below.

Site assessment

WordPress is renowned for its usability and ease of access, however it’s popularity also makes it an attractive target for bad actors. WordPress security is about risk reduction, not risk elimination. Because there will always be risk, security will remain a continuous process, requiring frequent assessment of these attack vectors.  The purpose of our Site Assessment is therefore to inspect the general well-being of your website in its current state. We highly recommend to do a full Site Assessment at least every 2 years. Book one now if your site never had one!

Speed assessment

Since Google started to give penalties to slow sites, site speed has become an important topic. There are many reasons why a site runs slower and fortunately even so many ways to make it run faster. If you let us do a Speed Assessment on your website, we tell you exactly where things can be improved and how!

Switch to SSL

SSL (secure sockets layer) is the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server (web hosting account) and a browser (your website). This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and integral. This is particularly important for forms to encrypt the information the site visitor is entering in the form as it passes to the server.  Since Google has almost made it mandatory to run websites over SSL, many website owners are scrambling to update their sites. Installing a certificate (via cPanel) is step 1 of the process, but in most cases a little bit more work is needed to make sure that a site is 100% secure without anything broken.

Anything else

Of course we cannot cover everything we might be able to help you with here. So feel free to ask anything related to WordPress and hosting services
